Sarah studied engineering at University of Texas at Austin, then engineering and engineering education at Stanford University for her PhD. She has taught engineering courses that focus on teamwork and communication for almost a decade at Foothill College. Her passion for creating collaborative and creative teams blends research and experience to provide personalized support.
Ye’s professional experiences involve management consulting at McKinsey in Belgium, product marketing at startups in Silicon Valley, and venture investment. Before that, she studied engineering with a double master’s degree from Ecole Centrale de Lyon and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Ye has always been passionate about coaching and trainings that empower a team or an individual to unleash their potentials and find solutions.
Melissa received her B.S in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Akron and her M.S. in bioengineering from Stanford University where she is currently pursuing her PhD. She is the Student Representative for the International Society of Biomechanics where she started initiatives to encourage collaboration and communication between researchers across the world, including a podcast on biomechanics and the soft-skills needed to improve lab culture. She enjoys facilitating positive, creative environments and living by the “Yes, and...” mantra.
Hannah received her B.S. in Biochemistry from Boston College and her M.S. in Bioengineering from Stanford University on the way to obtaining her PhD. She has countless teaching experiences and has worked in multiple design settings including facilitating the Stanford class Designing the Professional, which helps Stanford students plan and build their lives post-grad by equipping them with skills and practices encompassed in Designing Your Life. She has also been a teaching assistant for Design Thinking Studio (Stanford d.school ME377), a class that teaches fundamental design principles through experiential learning and has both participated in and facilitated the Creativity in Research Scholars program which helps PhD students bring creative design into their research. She co-hosts Melissa's biomechanics podcast, and is passionate about improving lab culture and teaching team building, soft skills and creative design. She loves to cultivate empathy, creative confidence and the freedom to fail in both herself and others.
